Eligibility: The participants must meet the following conditions to become eligible to attend this Executive Development Program on Mastering SOP Development leading to CPSOP certification.
1. Must be a graduate in any discipline.
2. Must have excellent communication skills in English (RWS).
3. Passion for business analysis and SOP development.

Mastering SOP Development is an online, instructor-led program that covers eight modules in about 12 hours leading to Certified Professional in Standard Operating Procedures (CPSOP).

Program Fee: USD 599, which includes the following:
1. Live, Instructor Led Online Training for 12 hours.
2. Two months access to our Learning Management System consisting of Presentations, Articles, Templates and Reference to Standards.
3. Examination credential for Certified Professional in Standard Operating Procedures (CPSOP).
4. Soft copy of the CPSOP certificate.
5. Inclusion in CPSOP Registry for verification from organisations and clients.

Module-3: SOP Techniques – research methods – stakeholder map – interviews – workshops – observation – document analysis – survey – benchmarking – brainstorming – capacity and capability analysis – business rules analysis – data flow diagrams – data mining – mind mapping – items tracking – lessons learned – key performance indicators – process analysis – process modelling – root cause analysis – risk analysis.

Module-5: Making Stunning SOPs – top ten features of best SOPs – style guide – guidelines from international organisations and standards.

Module-6: SOP Project Planning, Execution and Closing – establish SOP steering committee – create an SOP project charter – define your SOP objectives – identify stakeholders – define the scope – collect documents and gather information – document, verify and validate information – create a suitable SOP template – seek approval for the SOP template – develop SOP – review with stakeholders – train-the-trainer – periodic audit and continuous improvement.

 

Module-7: SOP Elements – boiler plate – opening remarks – overview – purpose – scope – key stakeholders – key processes – key systems – RACI matrix – SIPOC table – activities – risk management – lessons learned – SOP scorecard – SOP audit guidelines – feedback on SOP.

Module-8: Capstone Project – develop an SOP for Asset Management for a construction company.

Reference Book: Business Analysis by Debra Paul, James Cadle and Craig Rollason – Fourth Edition from BCS The Chartered Institute of IT. This book is not a must to attend the class but would be helpful to enhance your business analysis skills. All the required material to excel in SOP development will be available in your Learning Management System (LMS). SOP Book

 

Teaching Methodology: The instructor will be teaching live, online using PowerPoint presentations. Whenever a participant needs certain clarification, they can raise questions through the online platform and the instructor will respond to those questions at a logical point. When they would like to share their views to faculty the participant can also speak to him. At the end of each session, the presentation will be made available through our LMS.

Learning Management System (LMS): From the course start date, the participants would be able to access Fhyzics’ LMS for a period of two months. The participants would be able to review the course presentations, templates, articles and standards in LMS. There is an additional fee to extend the LMS access beyond the two months period. Certification: On successful completion of the program and its requirements, you can appear for the online examination and become a Certified Professional in SOP (CPSOP). Fhyzics’ CPSOP credential is known across the world and sought-after for process improvement manager, business analyst, consultants, human resource professionals, chartered accountants, certified public accountants, who are primarily entrusted with SOP Development and/or SOP Auditing Functions.

Program Requirements: The participants will need to comply with the following three program requirements to attain the CPSOP credential.
1. Must complete all the four sessions with 100% attendance.
2. Must prepare the list of SOPs for one of the domains or industries (Assignment) before third session.
3. Must complete the development of the Capstone Project (Assignment).
4. On completion of (1), (2) & (3) the participant shall appear and secure a pass in the online examination.

Examination: This is an online examination for 60 minutes with 60 questions. Each question has four options and the candidate must select the most appropriate answer. The examination is a closed book exam. You can take the examination in a quite place without any diversions either at home or office. One need to secure 80% and above to secure a pass in the examination. The fee paid at the time of enrolment of the course is for one attempt only. There is a fee of USD 199 applicable for each retake of the examination.

Certificate: On successful completion of the examination, the soft copy of the certificate for CPSOP will be emailed to you as per the details provided at the time of registration. We don’t provide any physical copy of the certificate.
