Production Process:

Raw Materials
Steel is the major raw material used in production of bearings. It is made with strong and 440c Stainless steel. In some case, plastics are been used to make the cage around the balls for less fiction.

Races
Races are a part which holds the ball in it. Inner and outer are the two types of races involved in the bearing. Both have similar manufacturing process. Races are shaped in required size and then they are allowed for heating under 1,550 degrees Fahrenheit for several hours. Based on the size the time gets vary. Then the races are dipped in oil bath for cooling, this process will make the material into a harder state. Finally, the material is sent for finishing works.

Balls
These are the list of process involved in manufacturing balls:
  •  Heading
  •  Flashing
  •  Soft grinding
  •  Heat treating
  •  Descaling
  •  Grinding
  •  Lapping
  •  Washing and sizing

Material is sent through a high-pressure machine, where it gets roles with the pressure of 20 tons, this is being done until the steel shape becomes a sphere. Excess materials will be occurred in the sphere while heading, removal of this excess part is known as flashing. Soft grinding is being done to make a complete sphere shape, then it is allowed for heating under 1,550 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to overheating the ball will discoloured and covered with oxide deposits, a chemical substance is used to remove this deposit. Finally, lapping and washing is been done for finished outlook.

Cage
Plastic and sheet metal are the raw materials used to make cage. Plastics and metal are been heated and shaped according to the requirement size.

Assembly and Quality Control
Assembly of the material is done by both manually and automatically with the help of machine and manpower. Finally, the quality control is checked and then the product is packed for sales.
