Position Overview
The transportation manager will supervise the transportation assistance and set the rates and also install and execute policies for transportation and storage of goods. As a Transportation Manager, you will help all functions of the Transportation teams. You will manage operators, routes for delivering goods, resources, protection and safety, and other transportation-related purposes to formulate immediate additions to the sections and customer experiences. Academic Qualification

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 2 years of higher education.
• MBA in business, operations or transportation services will be added advantage.

Professional Experience 

• 1-3 years of shipping supervisory/administration knowledge.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of shown experience in budget route optimization 

Professional Certification

• Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
  
• Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
  
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Managing the team of operators and maintenance staff within the Transportation Team.
• Guaranteeing drivers meet the required functioning skills, practice, and testing
• Creating enterprises to maintain driver recruitment and preparation.
• Cooperating with other teams to arrange shipment expectations with consumer needs and strategy.
• Managing transportation-related transactions and cost, in line with the annual accounts.
• Manage the scheduling and dispatching of agencies and assets
• Adviser company's or department's performance, develop statements for senior administration and design for adjustments to schedules and procedures
• Design, create, straight, check and estimate daily operations
