Pumps have existed in existence ever since humans have wanted to tap the water resources underground. The designs have evolved over the years. The functionality of pumps have evolved rapidly over the years. From domestic water supply and extraction to industrial applications in mines and fields, the pumping equipment manufacturing sector has had a large expansion in the fields it is being applied to.

The Manufacturing of pumping equipment begins in an Urn shaped castings. It is used to make diffuser bowls. A turbine pump is known to average around 30 diffuser bowls. The bowls hold the spinning impellers. Computerized tools are equipped to refine heir shapes. This makes sure the bowls fit neatly into pump columns. Another set of computerized tools are used to carve the bronze impellers. The casing is fine tuned so that the impellers fit into the diffuser bolts. To make sure the impeller is balanced  extra metal is sanded down. The top attachment ring of the discharge head is carved out. The discharge head is used to change the direction of flow of fluid and also acts  as a protective shield. The outflow flange is carved and a drilling machine is used to drill and make holes for attaching a gasket. To protect the metal parts from rust, they are painted. Then the shaft pipes are made. Tools work on both sides of the pipe simultaneously to refine the inner diameter and carve threads into them. Once the operation is complete, they are cleaned completely. Automatic lathe machines and computerized tools cut threads for the bronze bearings. These threads are designed to interconnect with the ones on the shaft pipes. In a pre-assembly section, the pipes are linked loosely. The exposed sections of the bearings are lubricated. A steel shaft is attached to every long essential pipe. The ends are capped to secure the shafts inside. Employees are used to attach a flange assembly to each end. Then a suction belt is connected to the shafts. Then an impeller is attached. Collet, a tapered clamp is used to secure it into the shaft. Iron diffuser bolts are also used to firm the grip. Depending on the power required, more impellers are added. Once the final assembly is done and painted, the pumping equipments are ready to be installed.
