Production Process:
50% polyol, 40% polyisocyanates, and 10% water and other chemicals are the major ingredients used to manufacture polyurethanes and other foam products. Hydroxybenzotriazole are also added in order to protect the product against light degradation. Based on the types of product, the raw material and production process gets vary. The ingredients are mixed with each other in range from several seconds to about five minutes. The chemicals are poured into smaller heated mixing tanks and then dispensing process takes place. Now, the chemicals are allowed in a conveyor belt, where the foam rises and cures to form slab stock. Then, by using some handsaw machine the foams are been sized into smaller shape. After cutting, it undergone for a curing treatment at a specific room temperature for 12 hours or more. Finally, according to the required size the foams allowed to cut and then, the inspection process takes place to check the quality of the product.
