Industry Process:
The farming process starts with selection of site, where the land should contain fertile soil with loam texture and water holding capacity. Before involving in farming activities, the soil should be prepared by giving a deep and light plough with the use of either mould board or disc plough. Mostly, the wheats are grown in agroclimatic conditions, with the moderate temperature of 21-32 degree Celsius. Based on the different characteristics, the wheats are classified into various types such as hard red winter, hard red spring, soft red winter, durum, hard white wheat, and soft white wheat. Varieties are picked & planted according to the requirement and climatic conditions of the respective region. Accountably for planting, 40-50kg of seeds are required for 1 acre of land.  After planting, the crops should be continuously cared by providing fertilizers, water, and weeds. Pesticides or insecticides are also provided for the crops in order to prevent from pest and disease. Mostly, it takes 7-8 months for the crops to attain a mature stage, and it can be identified when the leaves and stems changes into yellow colour. Finally, the wheats are harvested either by manually or automatically, and then, they are sorted and distributed for the further process.
