Position Overview
Machinist carries the construction and repair of all element parts, accessories and instruments, this position will be accountable for manufacturing various elements like industrial pieces of equipment and projects. The duties will include evaluating work orders to manage required stock supply and tooling; organisation and maintenance of common machinist devices such as vertical knee mills, hand-operated lathe, blenders, and various other supplemental shop equipment; and machining components to the required position and/or dimensional standards.

Academic Qualification

• High school is must
• BA/BS degree
• Diploma in tooling will be an added advantage 

Professional Experience 

• 2 years of apprenticeship in tooling work
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing unit

Professional Certification

• Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
  
• Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (Level-2)
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Roles and Responsibilities

• The requirement of doing lathe machine services for all aspects of work 
• works from part of assembly designs or sketches
• rebuild and services a type of tooling utilised in the fabrication of rubber or metal parts on assemblies
• Diagnoses wrecked tooling and imprinting dies and limit the method to resolve the problem.
• Installs and removes dies and tooling from machinations.
• Exploring various engine tools to manufacture new parts and perform improvements.
• Conducts regularly programmed and precautionary maintenance on tooling and dies.
• Complete an overhead elevator to lift plus ground product.
• Maintain tooling.
• Ensures precise and accurate reports, lists, and databases are maintained within areas of accountability.
