Position Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Manager is accountable for leading, achieving and optimizing Supply Chain policies as it relates to the daily administration and transport activities within the assigned area(s) of a market. This may involve, but is not limited to, operative responsibility for one or more sections such as receiving, order fulfilment, shipping and/or transportation. This job is accountable for P&L administration, staffing, and guaranteeing the performance and accountability of KPIs, management and co-worker safety.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA in Operations, Business, and Distribution Management preferred.
Professional Experience
- Three or more years of experience in production, logistics, transportation, or business-to-business distribution facility.
- Five years in leadership development
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-5)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and Maintain the effective receipt, warehouse, application fulfilment and packing of inventory and/or transportation, through a vigilant centre on KPI’s, Excellence and Setting goals; utilizing forecasting methodologies and tools.
- Project and Control Multi-Departmental P&L’s, including accountability for cost and performance.
- Execute Lean methodology and use the heads to lead constant improvement with teams.
- Recruit, select, elevate and improve Distribution and/or Transportation partners; ensure coverage preparation for staffing conditions and resource allocations.
- Implement leadership and motive 20-30 direct report workers. Communicate efficiently with co-workers and create an open discussion style that fosters a collaborative work environment.
- Carry associate performance appraisals, ongoing performance conversations, and salary revision recommendations. Monitor, recognise and record productivity, excellence and utilization for the selected area.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 15% of travel.
