Industry Process:
The industry operation starts with external preparation (land, soil, climate, etc), where the grapes are mostly grown in sub-tropical region with a good soil condition, and the soil need to have a pH of 6.5 to 8.5. The woods are designed and built in order to form a hardwood structure for grapes cultivation. According to the requirement and climatic condition, seeding and planting are involved and then, they need to be taken care in regular basis. Fertilizers and pesticides are provided in order to prevent from insects and plant diseases. It takes hardly 3-4 months to attain a maturity stage and after attaining they are allowed for harvesting either manually or through automatic machines. In raisin making process, the harvested grapes are allowed for a drying process for about 96 hours in a sunlight. After drying, they are undergone for cleaning process. Finally, the raisins or grapes are sorted according to its quality and then, they are taken for sales and distribution.
